"Looking at the reflections in the water is like seeing the present and then the past, it is seeing the water carry with it what is reflected" by Vladimir Tajc
"When I painted “Reflexes,” I was captivated by the sight of a vibrant boat docked by the pier. The ship's radiant colors - hues of yellow, orange, and red - left a lasting impression on my memory.
As I looked closer, I noticed the boat was tethered to a buoy that shone like a bright yellow beacon. The waves crashed against the vessel, creating a mesmerizing display of blue and aquamarine trails that revealed the secrets of the underwater world. The crystal-clear waters illuminated the marine flora, adding depth and beauty to the already breathtaking scene.
Watching the waves come and go, I couldn't help but notice that each time they moved, they created a new pattern - no two movements were ever the same. It reminded me of life's unpredictability - every moment is unique and never to be repeated.
After completing the painting, I wrote a dedication that encapsulated the essence of the artwork: "Looking at the reflections in the water is seeing the present and then the past, the water carrying what is reflected."
