Machupichu, Land of Secrets

Machupichu, Land of Secrets

"My painting, a tapestry of colors and emotions, shortens the distance between reality and imagination, inviting everyone to journey through the realms of Incan beauty and wonder." Quote by Vladimir

Machupichu, Land of Secrets

When I painted "Machu Picchu, Land of Secrets," my inspiration was deeply rooted in its majestic mountains. This site is situated at the crossroads of two impressive mountain ranges: the Urubamba Range and the Vilcanota Range. The ancient Inca City stands tall upon the imposing "Vilcabamba Batholith."

Accompanied by my sister and my wife, we ventured to explore the three peaks embracing this wondrous city: Huayna Picchu, Machu Picchu, and Putucusi. Huayna Picchu, which translates to "Young Peak" in Quechua, stands out as the most iconic, a name choice that the Incas made with profound meaning.

Despite the disappearance of the Inca civilization, the land of Machu Picchu still conceals secrets within its depths, and its mountains possess a transformative power that transports one to a place beyond this world.

My abstract painting strives to capture this enigmatic essence, where mysteries endure, and the connection between the past and the present merges in a setting that appears detached from our time.
